HOW TO STUDY FOR A SPELLING BEE:
Step One: Learn the study words for your grade level.
Step Two: Learn to spell each word in the list; spell the words out loud, slowly, one at a time. Working with a partner – a parent or friend – can help the memorization process.

Step Three: pay attention to prefixes and suffixes when studying for a spelling bee ; knowing how words begin and end and what those endings mean is one of the most useful tips a speller can have.
